&Tradition Flowerpot VP3 table lamp is a design classic designed by Verner Panton of Denmark in1969. The design of the Flowerpot lamp series, which was launched one year earlier, shows elegantly the then rather avantgarde fashion, so typical of Panton, of using geometrical forms, strong colors, and a variety of materials. Panton simultaneously captured in his light fixtures the style of a new era, typifying the Flower Power movement with psychedelic forms and colors as well as the futurism inspired by the space craze.

So the playful Flowerpot soon illuminated restaurants and other public spaces as well as private homes around the world. Thanks to its uncluttered but personal design idiom, the lamp has retained its popularity for decades, and is superbly suitable for retro interiors as well as minimalistic modern spaces.
